Electrical Building Services Designer

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Electrical Building Services Designer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and working drawings using AutoCAD and 3D modelling tools.
Responsibilities
- Draft and design electrical building services drawings, including routing, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and arrangement/layout drawings.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawing specifications.
- Maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by senior engineers.
- Design and draw for building services, e.g., electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection services etc.
- Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients as part of project delivery.
- Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings directly from models.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in drafting and design.
- Able to read building drawings, proficient in AutoCAD, and familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Well-versed in building regulations and local design codes.
- Proficient in 3D BIM Modelling in Autodesk.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to connect with stakeholders.
- Able to solve problems under pressure.
