Technical Support Specialist

This role entails providing expert technical support services for the DevSecOps/Integrated Application Lifecycle Management (iALM) system.

  • Maintain iALM applications and its infrastructure in production and non-production environments to ensure seamless performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve iALM incidents raised by users as per Service Level Agreement (SLA), delivering high-quality solutions on time.
  • Design and implement DevSecOps workflows based on ALM workflows to streamline processes.
  • Configure user accounts and profiles, ensuring access to relevant systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with the iALM product IT support team to resolve complex issues and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Evaluate integration and connectivity of iALM with other systems, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Provide comprehensive training to users on updated iALM workflows, features, and best practices, enhancing their skills and productivity.
  • Support users in publishing documents and creating templates, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Migrate from iALM applications to recommended tools, minimizing disruptions and downtime.
  • Recommend optimal processes and workflows customized to achieve better system performance, driving business growth.
  • Review and update user guides on new application features and usage, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Report weekly status on issue resolution and system resources utilization, enabling data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for iALM applications, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and other DevSecOps tools, along with a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)/QA processes.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in maintaining DevSecOps systems/ALM applications such as Microfocus/OpenText solutions is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in a user-centric environment with a focus on quality delivery.
