What the role is:
The Emerging Technologies team develops, implements, and manages cybersecurity policies and strategies in emerging technologies (including quantum, cloud, artificial intelligence), and emerging risks, to advance and strengthen Singapore's national cybersecurity interests.
What you will be working on:
As a member of the Emerging Technology team, you will assist in the strategy and policy development for emerging technology, in support of national cybersecurity capability. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and recommending strategies, masterplans, and initiatives to senior management to address the cybersecurity implications of emerging technologies.
Collaborating with technical and policy stakeholders in WOG, industry, and international agencies to understand technological developments and risks, informing the design and execution of cybersecurity strategies and masterplans.
Conducting research and analysis on strategic trends in emerging technologies.
What we are looking for:
Requirements:
A tertiary qualification, preferably in engineering, computer science, or other technical fields.
Experience with policy formulation and/or technology is preferred, as well as a background in cybersecurity or digital security.
Strong communication and analytical skills, both in presentations and written formats.
Willingness to learn and take on a diverse range of work, and able to operate in ambiguous and unstructured work environments.
