Senior Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:
1. Initiate and/or participate in outreach efforts related to the Division
2. Perform the role of Programme In-Charge and oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service
3. Develop strategies and oversee their implementation for the growth of Counselling & Therapy Service
4. Provide counselling assessment and intervention for clients
5. Documentation of all case related records
Technical competencies
- Proven experience in working with youths and managing trauma-related cases
- Possess good knowledge and experiences with providing counselling interventions in both individual and group setting
- Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Passionate in working with youths
• Independent worker but able to work well in a team
• Resilience: able to overcome adversity and emerge stronger
• Integrity: guiding decisions with moral principles
• Serving: willing to go the extra mile for others
• Excellence: always expecting the best of self
Preferred achievements
• Master's degree in counselling, or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting
• Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body (e.g., SAC, SPS)
• Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners, and/or counsellors
