The Media Researcher works within the core Media Management Team at Cision, maintaining the accuracy and detail of our global media database through productive research. In this role, you will need to be thorough, efficient, and creative in tracking down information to support our clients. Your responsibilities include adding and maintaining journalists and outlets to the database with a high degree of accuracy and utility while meeting our obligations around privacy and the sourcing of public data.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Research and verify journalist data to ensure highly accurate records in line with Data Protection rules.
• Research and verify outlet data to ensure highly accurate records.
• Contact journalists and outlets when necessary, using phone and email, to confirm details and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Support clients with information related to journalist data, following our agreed service levels.
• Manage time efficiently to meet personal KPIs.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
• At least one year of experience in research and/or customer service (online) environment.
• Previous media or PR industry experience, or research experience.
• Previous database and/or media industry experience.
• Previous experience communicating with clients in our core markets.
• A working knowledge of customs in the core markets in which you operate as a researcher.
• Excellent Computer (MS Office) skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
