**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to residents in a healthcare setting.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Clinical Care: Ensuring compliance with all occupational therapy standards as stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Clinical Assessment: Conducting assessments on residents as part of the admission assessment and regular routine assessments on in-house residents who may require occupational therapy or rehabilitation services.
  • Program Development: Recommending appropriate OT programmes and activities for residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Leadership: Providing leadership to the therapy staff, ensuring safe and quality resident care, and supervising, evaluating, and disciplining staff in the team.
  • Promotion of Evidence-Based Practices: Promoting evidence-based practices on therapy services, ensuring that they are delivered in accordance with policies, guidelines, and procedures.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPC, Singapore.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures.
  • A self-motivated individual, able to keep up-to-date with advances in the field of Occupational Therapy.
