Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the field of occupational therapy.

  • Job Summary:
    • This position involves conducting assessments and providing interventions for patients referred for occupational therapy. The successful candidate will participate in administration, professional education, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Conduct independent assessments and manage patients referred for occupational therapy.
    • Implement appropriate treatment plans and adhere to clinical standards.
    • Provide timely reviews of patients in the continuum of care.
    • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
    • Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support when necessary.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
    • Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare members in a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Participate in managing clinical and service initiatives.
    • Assist in providing clinical education to occupational therapy students.
    • Contribute to departmental in-service training programs and hospital educational talks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Recognized Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Interest in working in geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics (including hand therapy), and palliative care.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well in a team and independently.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office software.
