As a Communications Associate, you are responsible for supporting the Communications Executive and Communications Lead in our Positioning pillar to position us across our owned platforms and with our audience and partners, with warmth, authenticity and care for our values. This role reports to the Communications Executive.
Job Description
Marketing & Communications
Develop quarterly communications plans, outlining content schedules for communications strategies across owned channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, website, EDM), ensuring effective communication and optimal positioning of Motion’s brand
Collaborate with the Positioning team to produce content ideas and collaterals for Motion’s owned channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, EDM, Medium) based on the master schedule
Assist Communications Lead in copywriting content for social media and website (case studies, blog)
Conceptualise, shoot and edit short-form video content to enhance Motion’s storytelling across owned channels
Collaborate with the Communications team to ideate and curate engaging video concepts aligned with Motion’s brand voice
Monitor social listening on Motion’s LinkedIn and Instagram channels
Support Communications Lead in social media reporting
Support Communications Lead in strategising Motion’s positioning to external media through market research and pitching opportunities, in collaboration with PR partner agency
Support Communications Executive in producing in-house activations held at the House of Motion (internal events, town halls, celebrations)
Research valuable speaking opportunities for key leadership in Motion
Research annual awards to submit projects for (e.g. MARKies, Spikes Asia) and develop award decks according to submission guidelines
Branding
Assist in developing brand collaterals for prospecting purposes such as portfolio decks, partnership decks and sales kits
House of Motion Rental
Support Communications Executive in promoting and coordinating the rental of House of Motion, from listing on rental platforms and responding to sales enquiries to liaising with clients and space handovers
Meetings
Attend weekly WIP meetings with Positioning team and weekly updates with Founder & CEO for check-ins, alignment and approvals
With the right skill sets, you:
Have at least 2-3 years of proven experience in social media marketing and communications
Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Are organized and proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Enjoy and are good at building personal connections
Are quick on your feet especially at social events to understand the needs of leadership, team, partners and clients to uphold brand optics and reputation
