Join to apply for the Sr Asst Engineer/ Asst Engineer, Instrumentation & Control role at PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency . What The Role Is You will play a part in the comprehensive maintenance of Instrumentation & Control and SCADA equipment in the Department to ensure that they are reliable, resilient and efficient at all times. Experience in network equipment and cybersecurity knowledge will be an advantage. This role may require you to be called back after working hours should the need arise. Your Duties Include Perform calibration of instruments such as level sensors, pressure sensors, electromagnetic flowmeters. Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance of the Instrumentation & Control equipment in the pumping stations and tidal gate installations. Familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and its components such as Remote Terminal Units and network equipment. Maintenance location includes the raw water pumping stations, pond stations, tidal gates and drainage pumping stations. Maintain SCADA systems to comply with cybersecurity requirements such as patching of computer software, hardening of operating system and network administration. Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers and communications network. Familiar with communication protocols such as MODBUS protocol. Able to read Electrical Single Line Diagram and control drawings. Attend to breakdown of Instruments and SCADA equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults. Supervise Instrumentation & Control and SCADA projects. Able to communicate well and familiar with simple technical acronyms. Perform administrative work. Use of office software to procure materials and services. What We Are Looking For Diploma in Engineering Informatics, Computer Network & Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Network Certification such as Cisco Certified Network (CCNA), Netgain Certified Professional (NCP), Huawei Certified ICT Professional or equivalent would be advantageous. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience. Candidate with Class 2 and/or 3 license is preferred. Seniority level: Mid‐Senior; Employment type: Contract; Industry: Utilities.
