This role ensures product quality in new product development by supporting projects through the NPD Stage Gate Process, coordinating with engineering and suppliers, leading qualification and inspection activities, and driving continuous process improvements. Support multiple global New Product Development Projects through the NPD Stage Gate Process. Ensure all Quality Assurance NPD deliverables and activities are understood and completed. Participate actively in NPD Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) meetings and activities. Collaborate with Design Engineering to define measurement methodologies for critical dimensions and specifications, incorporating them into Receiving Inspection documentation. Work with vendors to ensure understanding of requirements (Supplier Quality). Lead product Qualification efforts, including components, materials, and vendors. Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and support Design FMEA where applicable. Prepare Control plans, inspection documentation, and Quality Plans. Facilitate PPAPs and Customer Approvals. Support assigned NPD activities. Ensure the successful transition of new products into production. Continuously improve processes and procedures. Conduct supplier audits for NPD components (where applicable). Train internal teams and suppliers on quality standards, inspection criteria, and NPD quality requirements to ensure stakeholder alignment. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
