Job Summary

Network Architect

• 12-month contract working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 6:00 (with occasional weekend work)

• The role is hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote, at locations either in CBD or Jurong.

1. Role Overview:

• Managing network architecture for clients and collaborating with stakeholders

• Design, preparation and reviewing architecture for new project requests.

2. Technical and Soft Skills:

• Candidates should have strong networking experience, particularly with Cisco, but also with technologies like F5 and firewalls.

• Candidates need a broad understanding of networking, including integration and design.

• Soft skills such as communication and teamwork are essential, as the role involves coordinating with various teams.

• Assisting, creating and validating software /infrastructure/Saas/Paas/Iaas architecture

Validate project implementation & migration data/infrastructure as applicable.

Scope of Work:

1. To plan, design and implement a secured network infrastructure & end-to-end network solutions Create Architecture Architect for ARB (Architecture Review Board) and necessary documentation, assist in security review/TRA, prepare and present Solution in ARB.

2. Must be able to gather business and/or application requirements on the network infrastructure to plan, design and implement technical solutions in accordance with the specifications & service levels, ensure the architecture design aligned to Corporate standard, operational requirements, meet IT policies and governance.

3. Demonstrate good experience and technical proficiency in security centric networks/Cloud/Paas/Saas and infrastructure solutions with strong knowledge, provide technical expertise, provide Bill of Material (BOM) /Cost estimation /budgeting.

Key Qualifications / Requirements:

1. IT Experience in designing and implementing high-availability, Campus/enterprise network, multi-layer datacenter networks. and IT Architecture Design

2. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science and equivalent.

3. Demonstrate project technical management skills and strong leadership, capable of managing large scale projects.

4. Good knowledge in next-gen firewalls and intrusion detection systems platforms and network monitoring and management solutions.

5. Possess strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills.

6. Industry certifications such as CCNA/ CCNP/ CCIE, CCSA, Microsoft Azure/Saas/Paas/Cloud experience will be an added advantage.
