Overview
We are looking for a creative, results-driven and highly motivated individual to strategize, oversee and execute digital and social media strategies for our portfolio of shopping malls. The role will be instrumental in enhancing our malls' online presence, integrating with offline initiatives, driving footfall, increasing shopper engagement and supporting overall marketing communications.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for each mall, ensuring alignment with branding and marketing goals. Manage platforms like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok while maintaining consistent messaging and visual identity. Daily content creation and curation ranging from posts and stories to reels is expected, along with active engagement with followers through comments and messages to foster a vibrant online community. Stay current with social media trends and identify influencer partnerships.
Support marketing communications by integrating social media efforts with the malls' broader campaigns and collaborating with the marketing team on promotional materials. Contribute digital insights and content ideas, ensuring brand consistency across channels. Support mall events through pre-event promotion and post-event coverage. Regular performance analysis of digital campaigns to improve future strategies and ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.
Use of tools like Meta Business Suite to monitor engagement, reach and campaign effectiveness. Analytics and reporting are used to define and track KPIs for social media and digital marketing activities, generating detailed reports and presentations that provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns and improve performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing and social media management, preferably within the retail or shopping mall industry
Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns across multiple platforms
Familiar with social media management tools and analytics platforms including Google Analytics 4, Generative AI, etc
Excellent copywriting, content creation (including visual and video content) and storytelling skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Initiative-taking, creative and meticulous with a passion for staying abreast with industry trends and understanding of social media trends and digital marketing best practices
Preferably with experience planning, executing and overseeing key media events and activities for mall campaigns and loyalty programme
