Project Overview: Developing Efficacious Isolation Guidelines for COVID-19
The implementation of isolation guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic has varied across countries. To address this disparity, our study aims to create scientifically backed guidelines by comparing different isolation protocols using a simulator that replicates the dynamic changes in viral load.
This research project is led by Keisuke Ejima, an Assistant Professor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Data collection and cleaning
  • Statistical analysis using mathematical models
  • Literature review
  • Manuscript writing contributions
  • Additional tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator
Requirements and Competencies:
  • Masters degree in quantitative fields such as data science, computational biology, mathematics, computer science, or statistics
  • Research experience in public health and medicine is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in R programming preferred
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
