Trade Execution and Logistics Specialist

To support the company’s expanding physical commodities business, a Singapore-based subsidiary of a leading global oil and gas corporation, specializing in equipment supply and commodity trading across energy and chemical markets, is looking for a Trade Execution and Logistics Specialist to join the team.

Reporting to the Vice GM, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of trade execution and operational support for physical commodity transactions, ensuring every deal runs seamlessly from confirmation to settlement. This includes coordinating complex shipping and logistics arrangements, preparing and verifying critical trade documents, handling Letters of Credit, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms.

Successful candidates can look forward to joining a well-established and globally connected trading house, in a role that blends operational expertise with strong problem-solving skills to ensure seamless trade execution and compliance in a dynamic commodities market.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of commodity markets (oil & gas preferred), shipping logistics, and trade financing practices.
  • Well-versed in Incoterms, commercial agreements, and compliance standards.
  • Skilled in using ERP platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to analyse data, communicate effectively, and resolve issues while thriving in a high-pressure trading environment.
