Job Title: Global Logistics Trade Specialist

About the Role:
The Global Logistics Trade Specialist will play a vital part in our organization, providing expertise and support to project and operational teams. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure seamless logistics and trade operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track research shipments from client program teams to internal and external partner sites.
  • Liaise with teams to gather and process supporting documentation for shipping materials domestically and internationally.
  • Manage greenlight process and Broker Clearance Instructions for imports.
  • Create invoices and shipping documents and engage carrier for shipping of packages.
  • Maintain shipment logs for imports, exports, and domestic shipments.
  • Be responsible for trade aspects by liaising with Global Trade Compliance and Logistics Operations.
  • Provide logistical and trade guidance and expertise to the scientific community.


Requirements:
  • BSC in biological science or science related concentration or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Logistics and/or Trade Compliance experience preferred.
  • Experience with Global Trade Compliance or regulatory audits preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including English.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Computer systems experience (e.g., MS Outlook, carrier systems, ERP, SAP).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
