Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mandarin to English Interpreter. The Interpreter will be responsible for translating spoken and written communication from Mandarin to English and vice versa. The Interpreter will ensure that the meaning and context of the original message are accurately conveyed in the target language. Daily tasks include participating in virtual meetings, interpreting during phone calls, and translating documents. The role may also involve providing cultural context to aid understanding and clear communication.
Qualifications
Fluency in Mandarin and English
Proficiency in verbal and written translation and interpretation
Cultural competency and knowledge of nuances in both Mandarin and English
Experience with remote interpreting tools and technology
Strong attention to detail
Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
HIPAA certification is a plus
Ability to work independently and remotely
Relevant qualifications in linguistics, translation, or related fields is advantageous
