Establish production budgets, evaluate and recommend investments in equipment and systems. Management of asset, maintenance and monthly reporting analysis. Contribute to strategic planning and decision making. Roles and Responsibilities Lead the operations function to meet business objectives and ensure compliance with EH&S, quality, and business practices standards. Develop and implement production systems and processes that align with the overall vision and objectives, monitoring cost and effectiveness. Plan and control manufacturing activities, including materials, scheduling, machines, people, suppliers, and customers. Lead resource planning, rough‐cut capacity planning, and capacity requirements planning to support demand. Develop a supply plan that supports customer and business financial needs. Lead lean manufacturing implementation to achieve one‐piece flow, zero defects, continuous flow, and Takt. Champion lean culture fundamentals of waste elimination and respect for people. Demonstrate systematic problem‐solving (A3, 8D, DMAIC, DIVE, etc.) including containment, root cause investigation, corrective action, and control. Manage production execution and control, organizing and expediting production for recovery. Define, prioritize, and improve business processes supporting operational continuity. Drive plant people strategies, including succession planning, performance and development, and career development processes. Build a cohesive operations team closely integrated with other functions to create a positive working environment. Maintain positive employee relations through regular departmental communications and engagement activities. Act as a change agent to influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing best practices and processes. Qualifications and Education Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Production, or Materials Engineering. Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean certification preferred. APICS CPIM certification preferred. Minimum 8 years of related aviation industry experience. Minimum 5 years of progressive managerial experience. Experience in precision machining production environment. Strong background in engineering, operations, and quality.
