As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for production planning to meet weekly target output, on‐time delivery to customers, machine utilization and inventory level. You will explore continuous improvement activities to assist area management in running the production in a cost efficient and effective manner. Responsibilities & Tasks Generate production plan and execution strategy to meet output plan, on‐time delivery (OTD), cycle time and day of inventory (DIO) metrics. Analyze progress of daily production operations and collaborate with cross‐functional teams to resolve issues impacting delivery schedule. Create and implement integrated systems for carrying out material flow, production processes, inventory control and human work factors. Drive continuous improvement to achieve best‐in‐class performance on cycle time and delivery. Serve as manufacturing primary point of contact for in‐line planning and production control related activities. Forecast production logistics, direct and indirect materials to ensure production readiness to meet weekly output plan. Review current resource inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply to meet fluctuations. Review bottleneck areas, constraints on existing and new processes or work procedures with support groups. Ensure a safe work environment and perform work area inspections to identify, anticipate and promptly correct safety hazards. Requirements BSc (Physics, Chemistry, Applied Sciences) or BEng (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials) from a recognized institute. Experience with manufacturing process capacity planning, automation, scheduling, cycle time, and manufacturing efficiency. Willingness to work non‐standard hours, including compressed 12‐hour night shifts. Outstanding organizational, coordination, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate team members from multiple sites and diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; basic coding skills desired. Self‐motivated and capable of working independently in a demanding and dynamic environment.
