Assistant to the General Manager (Tech)

Position Summary

The Assistant to the General Manager ("GM Assistant") will provide comprehensive support to the General Manager in daily operations, strategic initiatives, and cross-departmental coordination. This role serves as a bridge between the GM and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication, efficient execution, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations and follow up on key tasks.
  • Draft, review, and prepare reports, presentations, and business documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and timely completion of projects and initiatives.
  • Act as the liaison between the General Manager and external partners, government agencies, and business stakeholders.
  • Schedule, prepare, and attend meetings; take minutes and ensure proper follow-ups.
  • Conduct market research, industry analysis, and prepare briefing materials to support decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs, track project milestones, and provide regular updates to the General Manager.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high levels of professionalism.
  • Support other ad-hoc tasks and assignments delegated by the General Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in multinational companies or large local enterprises.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and business communication tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of independent thinking.
