Job Summary
A technical draftsman plays a vital role in creating detailed drawings and documents that support planning and execution activities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing 2D CAD drawings, including utility / facility system schematics, layout plans, and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site walkthroughs to manually trace and verify ductwork, piping, and utility routing for incomplete or undocumented systems.
- Develop and prepare 2D CAD drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and company-specific requirements.
- Translate site data and critical engineering's notes into accurate technical drawings.
- Revise and update drawings as required based on changes in scope or site findings.
- Maintain organized drawing records and project documentation.
- Coordinate with Utilities, Facility, and Plant Maintenance teams to support planning and execution activities.
- Participate in site measurements and dimensional verification to ensure drawing accuracy.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any course with minimum 3 years of experience as a draftsman, preferably in manufacturing industry.
