Academic Excellence Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Excellence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the academic growth of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach group classes for English, Maths, or Science, aligning with the MOE syllabus.
  • Develop and customize lesson materials with the curriculum team.
  • Monitor student progress, manage attendance, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Support students' holistic growth, helping them thrive academically and as individuals.
  • Establish a disciplined and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring.
  • Manage parent communications via calls or WhatsApp class groups.
  • Arrange makeup lessons and handle any changes to the schedule.

Requirements:

  • Able to teach two subjects confidently from English, Maths, or Science.
  • At least 1 year of group teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore MOE syllabus.
  • Qualifications: Primary Level - Minimum A-Level or Diploma, Secondary Level - Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
  • Punctual, reliable, and responsible. Strong communication skills and classroom management abilities. Patient, empathetic, and passionate about student development.

Schedule:

  • Weekdays: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM (3 days/week)
  • Weekends: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (both Saturday and Sunday)
  • Day Off: Within weekdays, subject to management's arrangement regarding time off.
