Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated beverage expert to join our team as a Barista. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of hot and cold beverages to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, and up-selling special items. You will also be responsible for taking orders accurately, ensuring a smooth management of traffic, and ensuring all items are served promptly.

To ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests, you will need to have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts and have flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to maintain a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment daily. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining pantry stocks to ensure a continuous supply of materials.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs. You will also need to comply with health and safety regulations and communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience as barista is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to gauge customers' preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Relevant training is a plus.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $2200 - $2400 depending on experience. Working location will be in the West. Full time/Part time available. Please indicate your preference.
