Job Description:

This role focuses on ensuring the optimal functioning of commercial and retail facilities. The Property Executive will be responsible for inspecting sites regularly to identify defects, irregularities or maintenance issues and reporting these findings to management.

Key tasks include supervising technicians to carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and replacements efficiently; serving as liaison officer for M&E systems including CCTV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, lift systems, and other building services; engaging with tenants and contractors to resolve maintenance issues promptly; sourcing contractors for quotations, comparing and evaluating them; issuing and certifying work/purchase orders accurately and in compliance with internal processes; coordinating ad hoc jobs and responding to special tenant requests with minimal disruption to operations; maintaining effective communication with tenants to address their feedback and concerns promptly; and assisting management in council meetings and AGMs where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Building Services, Facilities Management or related discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in property/facilities management (retail/commercial environment preferred).
  • Knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, able to work independently or in a team.
