Position Overview The Waiter Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth front-of-house operations. This role involves supervising the service team, maintaining service standards, managing floor operations, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily restaurant functions. Key Responsibilities Service & Guest Experience Supervise and coordinate the activities of wait staff to ensure efficient, attentive, and professional service at all times. Greet and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service-related concerns promptly and courteously. Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest interaction in line with Atithi Kitchen’s hospitality philosophy. Support the team during peak hours by assisting with table service, order delivery, and special requests. Team Supervision & Training Lead, motivate, and coach service staff to deliver consistent guest experiences. Conduct daily briefings to communicate menu updates, promotions, and service priorities. Train new waiters on service etiquette, menu knowledge, upselling techniques, and POS system use. Ensure grooming and uniform standards are adhered to by all service staff. Operations & Coordination Oversee table allocation, reservations, and floor management to optimize guest flow. Ensure accurate order taking and communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff. Monitor service quality, speed, and accuracy to ensure smooth operations. Assist in maintaining inventory of service supplies, tableware, and condiments. Handle cash and close daily sales in coordination with the Restaurant Manager or cashier. Health & Safety Compliance Ensure that all service and dining areas comply with food hygiene and workplace safety regulations. Report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues promptly. Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B service, preferably in an Indian or casual dining restaurant. Prior experience as a Senior Waiter, Captain, or Supervisor . Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling. Positive attitude, team player, and well-groomed appearance. Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and split shifts as required.
