Principal Research Scientist (Computer Science/Engineering) page is loaded **Principal Research Scientist (Computer Science/Engineering)**locationsNTU Main Campus, Singapore time typeFull time posted onPosted Today job requisition idR Jinan-NTU Green Technology Research Institute (GreenTRI) was established to focus on international collaborations in digital technologies and GreenTech.GreenTRI is looking for a motivated Principal Research Scientist to guide the centre of excellence in achieving its vision and mission.**Key Responsibilities:*** Support the Director in providing strategic direction and leadership to guide the centre of excellence in achieving its vision and mission.* Assist the Director in offering scientific insights and strategic direction for research collaborations with industry partners.* Help the Director plan, strategize, and implement frameworks and processes to meet the center's milestones and goals.* Lead research programs focused on emerging technologies and talent development.* Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external collaborators to achieve common objectives.* Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to researchers and PhD students.**Job Requirements:*** PhD degree from a world leading university, preferably in a field related to Computer Science/Engineering, with at least 20 years' experience in a research-intensive educational and research environment.* Strong leadership in managing executive and professional programmes* Strong experience as subject matter expert in digital technologies, cross-disciplinary areas, etc.* Significant experience in supervising and mentoring research staff and students* Significant experience and success in leading strategic collaborations.* Excellent oral and written communications, with strong interpersonal skills.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU NTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).
