About the role
As a leader within an agile development team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering solutions to our customers. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of Java full-stack developers, offering technical guidance, and encouraging their professional growth. You will be skilled in leading a sprint team to break down tasks, while also demonstrating a willingness to continuously learn and contribute innovative ideas to create a product you are proud of. The position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing Java web applications.
What you\'ll be doing
Lead and mentor a team of Java full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Ensure adherence to clean code principles, including readability, maintainability, testability, and adherence to coding standards.
Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring to foster a culture of clean code and continuous improvement within the team.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry advancements in Java, Angular and clean code principles.
About You
7+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on Java, clean code and software craftsmanship
Expertise in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Hibernate)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
Proficiency with version control systems (Git is a plus)
Demonstrated commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have but not mandatory
Experience in a lead developer or technical leadership role
Experience with Angular
Experience with AWS
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins is a plus) and DevOps practices
Experience with microservices architecture
