Our Climate and Sustainability services team is growing and we are looking for the right candidate to support the delivery of a wide range of projects as we support our clients to meet their sustainability goals.
We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm and passion for shaping a better world and to play an integral role in helping our clients understand the impact of their operations, projects and assets and to help them transition to net zero, resilient and sustainable future.
The Opportunity
To lead and manage project delivery for a broad range of building, infrastructure, city planning and advisory projects, addressing how design endeavours respond to sustainability goals.
To represent Arup in internal and external client engagements, providing sustainability advice on building performance, city planning and climate (decarbonisation & adaptation) services.
To manage a range of sustainability projects, either as a technical specialist in support of a wider team or as the Project Manager managing team, delivery, technical oversight, budget and programme.
To be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others’ work and working under minimal supervision.
To lead and support business development, pipeline planning and growth for the team, working as part of the Climate and Sustainability Services leadership team.
To develop and train consultants within the Climate and Sustainability Services team in both general design and engineering principals and techniques, as well as specific building physics capability.

Is this role right for you?
Relevant tertiary qualification within Architectural, Consulting or Engineering.
Experience in leading projects involving building sustainability design, carbon assessment, net zero transition, climate resilience and sustainability advisory.
To lead total project delivery for a broad range of building, infrastructure and city planning projects, addressing how the design by other disciplines responds to sustainable drivers.
To provide sustainability expertise to wider multi-disciplinary teams to drive and embed sustainability, net zero and climate resilience.
To manage a range of sustainability projects, either as a technical specialist in support of a wider team or as the Project Manager including budgets and programmes.
To prepare and review project reports for clients summarising sustainability outcomes and strategically advising on best outcomes.
To assist climate change related policy and services action development – including GHG mitigation and climate adaptation.
