Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage the wine list to complement the restaurant’s menu and enhance guest satisfaction.
Oversee wine procurement, storage, and inventory control to ensure availability and minimize wastage.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of wine knowledge and service.
Supervise daily wine service, ensuring consistent delivery of excellence to guests.
Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
Drive wine sales through promotions, upselling strategies, and guest engagement.
Plan and organize wine-related events, tastings, and promotions to boost brand reputation and revenue.
Monitor and control costs, manage departmental budgets, and ensure profitability.
Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback on staff performance to maintain service quality.
Continuously expand personal wine knowledge and stay current with global industry trends.
Achieve department sales targets and contribute to overall business goals.
