We are looking for a results-driven and client-focused Content Strategy Lead to take charge of our content services, while also overseeing the content strategy for Verz Design’s own brand to strengthen our market positioning and drive inbound leads.
Job Summary
As a Content Strategy Lead at Verz Design, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that meet both client and company objectives. This role involves managing client relationships, planning and overseeing content production, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with SEO best practices, UI/UX principles, and conversion optimization goals. In addition, you will lead content initiatives for Verz Design, including blogs, social media, website content updates, and email marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Management:
Develop comprehensive content plans that include website content development and optimization, SEO blogs, skyscraper articles, press releases, social media post and EDMs.
Ensure content strategies align with clients' business objectives, SEO goals, and user engagement metrics.
Incorporate UI/UX principles to create seamless user experiences and improve conversions.
Plan and execute content initiatives to promote Verz Design’s brand, services, and expertise in the digital commerce space.
Manage the company’s blog, website content, and social media to drive traffic, improve brand visibility, and generate inbound leads.
Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure Verz Design’s content is consistent, engaging, and results-driven.
Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices, including keyword integration, internal linking, and mobile-first optimization.
Use analytics tools to monitor and improve SEO performance for both client and company content.
Team Collaboration and Coordination:
Coordinate with SEO specialists, copywriters, UI/UX designers, and bloggers to execute content plans.
Provide clear and detailed content briefs and structures/outlines, including guidelines for tone, keywords, and objectives.
Review and refine content to ensure it meets quality standards, client requirements, and SEO goals.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
Monitor the effectiveness of content strategies using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve content performance for clients and Verz Design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in content marketing, SEO, or a similar role, preferably in an agency setting.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices, content strategy, UI/UX design principles, and conversion optimization techniques.
Proficient in creating and managing content strategies for both clients and internal brands.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on quality and clarity.
Solid project management skills to handle multiple priorities and deliverables effectively.
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
Basic understanding of UI/UX tools (e.g., Figma) to collaborate with designers.
Results-driven with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
