Within Asia Operations, the Cash team is responsible for processing cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives, and for cash management of secondary nostro accounts. The incumbent will be part of this function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the Cash function.
  • Ensuring that the services delivered to Azqore clients are performed as efficiently and productively as possible.
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for the processing of cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives transactions.
  • Understanding of the core system and process workflow is essential.
  • Orderly understanding of relevant market nuances and front-to-back knowledge of the processes handled.
  • Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies related to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, locally and abroad.
  • Participates in Azqore Asia Operations projects, driving and implementing process enhancements where necessary.
  • The successful applicant will be part of the Asia Cash Operations function and could be rotated amongst different processes within the team.

Your core competencies

  • Bachelor degree, and/or professional qualification in Banking / Finance.
  • Up to 3 years of FX/MM Derivatives transactions & settlements processing experience.
  • Familiar with financial products (FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives such as exotics, IRS, CCS, OIS, REPO), market infrastructures, SWIFT message types, regulations and operational risks related to trade processing and settlement.
  • Good knowledge and practice of Office suite; Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in Private Banking; background is a plus.
