Overview
These resources should have broad experience in development and integration on MuleSoft (CloudHub and RTF). It is preferable if they have integration experience in the hospitality industry. A key requirement is experience in integration with property management systems (e.g., Oracle Opera Cloud), central reservation systems (CRS, e.g., Sabre, Amadeus), and front-end booking websites and mobile apps.
Responsibilities
Hands-on design and build of Mule 4 projects for different orchestration and integration patterns (APIs, SOAP services, scheduled processes, and message queuing).
Translate business requirements into scalable and manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
Apply a 3-layer approach to APIs within an API-led architecture.
Architect solutions with MuleSoft and manage Anypoint Platform on Mule 4.
Hold or pursue certification such as MCPA and MCIA (preferred).
Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support API and integration projects.
Ensure the development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards.
Expertise in design patterns for building MuleSoft solutions from the ground up (e.g., message routing, content enrichment, message transformation, guaranteed delivery, message sequencing).
Knowledge of batch message processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms.
Knowledge of MUnit and test-driven development.
Knowledge of Maven for MuleSoft projects and end-to-end CI/CD.
Collaborate with Solution Architecture/Designers/Leads/Developers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and share knowledge.
Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances.
Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on the Anypoint Platform.
Familiar with AnyPoint CloudHub Platform configurations (DLB, VPC, VPN).
Good understanding of OOP concepts and experience with .NET 3.0/4.0.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Mule 4, API-led architecture, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Experience in integrating with hospitality domain systems (PMS, CRS, front-end websites and mobile apps).
Experience with Oracle Opera Cloud (PMS) and central reservation systems such as Sabre or Amadeus.
Strong ability to transform business requirements into scalable solution designs.
Experience designing and implementing APIs, SOAP services, scheduled processes, and message queues.
Chapters on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and operational concerns of integrations on Anypoint Platform.
Understanding of 3-layer API architecture and API-led connectivity.
Proficient in MUnit, Maven, and end-to-end CI/CD.
Hospitality domain knowledge (preferred).
