1. Overview PERTAPIS SENIOR CITIZENS FELLOWSHIP HOME's mission is to meet the demands of destitute elderly regardless of race or creed. Residents enjoy the interaction with their peers while maintaining their independence through their daily routines. We provide medical care & activities programs to improve both physical and mental wellbeing. 2. Job Description Ensure that all residents comply with the rules and regulations of the Home. Responsible for safety and well-being of the residents. Ensure that periodic and random spot-checks are done for residents' lockers, and to remove contraband. items that might be harmful to residents. Record any forms of behavioural and non-compliance issues. Ensure printing of necessary documents for colleagues' use. Ensure that the toilet is always kept clean and dry, toilet fittings to be inspected to ensure they are in good condition and safe for use. Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean and dry, waste bins must have an inner plastic liner and kept closed at all times. Ensure that waste does not overspill due to being full and to be disposed daily. All food must be covered and preparation must be done on the cabinets or tables. To conduct 'Resident Satisfaction Survey' every 6 months or when necessary and gather feedback for improving service standards and delivery. To update the 'Occurrence Book' on residents' movements and any major concerns they might have. To write incident reports professionally and such documents to be properly filed. To ensure that sharp objects such as knives, scissors and cutleries must be kept away from residents and locked after use. Support all PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by the management. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the HOH. 3. Job Requirements N Level, O Level, Nitec/Higher Nitec & Diploma. Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience. Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays. Matured, good interpersonal skills and has passion working with senior citizens. 4. Working Hours 6 days work - 3 rotating shifts (Able to commit to shift work)5.
