Job Title: Regional Trade Specialist

Description:

  • We are seeking a seasoned trade professional to join our team as a Regional Trade Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will support the planning and execution of pricing strategies for the Middle East trade lane.
  • They will monitor booking trends, equipment utilization, and space forecasts.
  • Responsibilities include preparing quotations, tender documents, and trade reports.
  • Liaising with agents, sales, and operations teams for cargo coordination is essential.
  • Additionally, they will assist in market research and competitor rate analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate trade documentation and tariffs is crucial.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in container shipping is required.
  • Familiarity with ME/ISC port pairs and cargo mix is highly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and possess strong data analysis skills.
  • A good command of English and Chinese (spoken and written) is essential, with additional regional languages being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools is also required.
  • Travel may be necessary according to company instructions.
  • Ability to work independently under time pressure is vital.
