Because what we do matters – to us as valued professionals and to the millions of people and institutions who rely on us to help them build more secure and prosperous futures.### **THE ROLE**### With a focus on APAC Equities, execute trades for MFS funds and clients, and contribute to the MFS trading and investment process.### **WHAT YOU WILL DO*** ### Execute single stock algorithm, block, and program Equities trades across the APAC region while seeking best execution* ### Collaborate with global investment team on execution strategy and liquidity needs* ### Conduct execution research in support of best execution and improving trading outcomes* ### Engage externally with vendors and counterparties to understand the market micro-structure context in which we operate* ### Leverage technology and analytics to improve MFS execution quality and liquidity access* ### Source, filter, develop and distribute relevant market color, content and liquidity opportunities to the investment team* ### Collaborate with and assist functional teams throughout the firm, including operations, compliance, client services and the broader trading team* ### Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships for the purpose of delivering on the above responsibilities* ### Follow and support MFS policies and procedures, including best execution, trade allocation and more as required* ### Assume additional responsibilities as required### **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR*** ### Minimum of 5-10 years of Equities trading or related experience, including APAC-specific experience* ### Thorough understanding of relevant markets and investments* ### Willingness to build cross-asset trading skills* ### Willingness working on global platform with flex hours* ### Experience with order management systems, electronic trading platforms and traditional voice trading practices* ### Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills* ### Strong organizational and decision-making skills* ### Experience with KDB, R or Python preferred### #LI-HYBRIDAt MFS, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
