Supplier Quality Technician (1 Year Contract)
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspection of new parts and advance inspection planning for NPI projects.
Interface between the internal factories globally in terms of material quality.
Work closely with supplier quality engineers in Asia and Europe.
First article and incoming inspection on mechanical and electrical parts.
Support R&D for prototype inspection and internal calibration for gauges, jigs, and fixtures.
CMM programming for new parts and GOM or other optical inspection for prototype parts.
Supplier source audit and assist engineers in non-conformance management.
Train interns and ensure suppliers use the right equipment for inspection.
Other admin work related to supplier quality, including purchase requests.
Requirements:
Diploma or ITE in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or any related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in original equipment manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
CMM programming skills, preferably with Zeiss, and knowledge of calibration processes.
Knowledge of drawings, preferably Advanced Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Preferably inspection knowledge on PCBA, cables, and other electrical parts.
