Overview
The Lead IT Architect at NCS is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions that drive business growth and meet complex client needs. This role involves leading pre-sales engagements, architecting scalable systems across cloud and on-premise infrastructures, and managing full project lifecycles from concept to deployment. The architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and clients to ensure high-quality outcomes, while mentoring junior talent and staying ahead of emerging technologies. Ideal candidates bring over 15 years of experience in large-scale system architecture, agile delivery, cloud platforms, and stakeholder engagement.
What will you do?
Pre-Sales & Business Development
Engage in pre-sales activities, prospect visits, and product demonstrations to assess client needs.
Tailor solutions to support business growth and foster strong partner relationships.
Lead preparation and execution of bids and tenders, including cost estimation and obtaining approvals.
Design and deliver end-to-end solutions, covering system architecture, applications, infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), security, and integration.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Lead and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate and demonstrate solution feasibility.
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead and manage agile development processes, including sprint planning and continuous improvement.
Oversee system delivery, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning.
Provide hands-on technical support throughout the system lifecycle, including troubleshooting and optimization.
Technical Expertise & Innovation
Stay current with technological trends and incorporate relevant innovations into solutions.
Provide subject matter expertise and ensure the quality and competitiveness of solutions.
Drive improvements across all lifecycle stages of the system.
Stakeholder & Team Management
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and management teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.
The ideal candidate should possess:
15+ years
of experience in solution design, technical leadership, and end-to-end system delivery.
Proven track record in
architecting and implementing large-scale, mission-critical systems , ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
Strong leadership in
agile development methodologies , including sprint planning, execution, and team collaboration.
In-depth knowledge of
video systems, data analytics, big data , and
AI-based solutions .
Extensive expertise in
cloud platforms
(e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including infrastructure design, security, and cost optimization.
Experience designing
cloud-native solutions
with a focus on scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
Solid understanding of
software development lifecycle , quality assurance, testing, and commissioning processes.
Exceptional ability to manage stakeholder expectations and
communicate effectively with senior executives .
Demonstrated ability to
mentor and guide junior team members , fostering growth and collaboration.
Strong interpersonal and
presentation skills , with the ability to engage a range of audiences from technical teams to C-level stakeholders.
