Research Manager Job

As a Research Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing research projects through project execution, team supervision, and ensuring data quality and compliance throughout all stages across research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand scope and requirements
  • Develop fieldwork plans including timelines, resource allocation, team structures, and contingency plans
  • Allocate and schedule fieldwork resources to meet project milestones

Fieldwork Execution

  • Conduct fieldwork: interviews (phone/in-person), audits, and participant recruitment
  • Ensure accurate data entry and adhere to project protocols

Associates Management

  • Recruit and train associates
  • Manage associate performance and maintain performance feedback records

Data Quality Assurance

  • Clean and verify collected data for accuracy
  • Code open-ended responses using appropriate tools

Communication

  • Maintain clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:


• Diploma in any discipline (preferably completed a module in Market Research or Business Statistics)


• Minimum 2 years of experience in data collection, project management, or project work delivery in market research


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
