Sheet Metal Fabrication Project Leadership

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sheet Metal Fabrication Project Leader to oversee end-to-end sheet metal fabrication projects from quotation to final delivery. As a key member of our project team, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost control across all stages of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sheet metal fabrication projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review technical drawings and ensure manufacturability.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress against key milestones.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates, changes, and technical requirements.
  • Ensure product quality by coordinating with QA/QC and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Optimize cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced processes (e.g., surface treatments, laser cutting).
  • Lead project meetings, prepare status reports, and manage project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred (for client and supplier communication).
