As a key member of our team, the Utility Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for coordinating utility diversion routes, supporting structures, and other required infrastructure. This includes studying existing utilities, overseeing site utility diversion work, and engaging with approved subcontractors for services diversion works.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, with at least 1-3 years of experience in construction supervision or project coordination. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with relevant utilities agencies.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing utility construction projects, developing project scope, timelines, specifications, and budgets. You will also be expected to identify and resolve system failures, perform preventative maintenance, and direct project groups and technicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination of utility diversion routes and supporting structures
  • Study and determination of existing utilities
  • Overseeing site utility diversion work
  • Liaising with approved subcontractors for services diversion works
  • Managing utility construction projects
  • Directing project groups and technicians
  • Identifying and resolving system failures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in construction supervision or project coordination
  • Registered earthwork supervisor with EMA/SPPG (an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills
