The ultimate goal is to help HPB achieve its vision of making Singapore a nation of healthy people and to establish itself as a local and international authority on health promotion.What You Can Expect As a key member of Substance Abuse team, you will be actively involved in conceptualising, planning, coordinating, and evaluating public education and implementation of substance abuse prevention and cessation initiatives to reduce the prevalence of smoking and vaping in Singapore. Additionally, you will participate in planning and research to prevent the initiation of smoking and/or vaping among the general population and targeted segments such as youth. Your role will involve educating, motivating, and assisting smokers and/or vapers to quit smoking and/or vaping. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with government and non-government organisations as well as the private sector to develop information and plans in support of anti-vaping efforts.Together With The Substance Abuse Team, You Will Conceptualize And Implement Substance Abuse Prevention And Cessation Initiatives, Focusing On Smoking And Vaping, To Be Delivered At a National Scale. You Will Be Involved In The Following Key Areas Content creation and programme development, including Evidence-based/informed approach through conducting research of available literature on smoking & vaping to distil learning, findings and relevant information for programme development Curate content suitable for Singapore context, based on understanding of the local situation from available data, surveys, resources etc Derive an overarching framework for alignment of messages related to the department’s work across various segments and settings, in support of the department’s strategic plans and vision Project management of contracts with service providers providing a suite of offerings for smoking/vaping control initiatives, such as talks, workshops and activations, across different settings, including community, workplaces and schools. This includes: Procurement of services through a tender process Upon award of tender, be the POC and to coordinate requirements and requests from partners and stakeholders Oversee implementation of the contract through close coordination with vendors, partners and stakeholders Monitor and track KPIs, analyse the ROI and evaluate the cost effectiveness of the project Secretariat to a cross-matrix (inter-divisional) workgroup on Substance Abuse, focusing on smoking and vaping initiatives. This includes: Planning and coordination of meeting schedules and agenda Proactively and strategically propose items for discussion in consideration of ongoing and upcoming efforts Any other ad-hoc or new tasking as directed by Head of Department BE PART OF THE TEAM Skills Join us if you are a good team player with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with people at all levels, and the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess:Relevant work experience or background in Public Health, Health Promotion or Communications, Public Policy, Business Administration or a related field is advantageous. Possesses at least 5 years of working experience managing projects related to conceptualising and planning programmes, preferably with experience working with government entities, healthcare institutions and service providers. Have the ability to initiate and manage nationwide projects and campaigns. Good communication skills, strong presentation and writing abilities, as well as strong negotiation and influencing skills. Possesses strong analytical & organizational skills Experience in digital product development, such as app and systems development, will be advantageous Experience in data management, business analytics and Power BI dashboard will be advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
