Overview
Join Cosmo 1:1 as a tutor for 1:1 online instruction. You will have a flexible and consistent schedule set by you. We teach math, ELA, and SAT prep and provide learning plans for tutors. This role involves 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons with students, conducted online in an after-school setting.
Responsibilities
Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students
Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student\'s age and ability
Submit class feedback after each lesson
Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
Communicate with Cosmo staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep
Experience with K-12 ELA/Math standards
Teaching license preferred but not required
Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC
Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
Available between 6-9 AM EST or 3-10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends
Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
Access to a private and quiet location
Passion for helping students learn; approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable

The base pay for this position is $20 Singapore Dollars per hour plus regular incentives and bonuses.
