Job Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the overall use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for project delivery. Your primary objective will be to manage and oversee the implementation of BIM-related processes, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the overall use of BIM for project delivery
  • Lead and/or assist in the creation of BIM deliverables such as BIM Execution Plans, Clash Detection Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Design Review Procedures, Construction Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D)
  • Coordinate and collaborate on project-wide BIM-related matters with clients and interfacing contractors, ensuring design process and submissions comply with specifications and requirements
  • Regularly update and report on all BIM-related activities' progress and status to the Senior Officer (SO)
  • Verify and rectify all BIM-related challenges and issues in the project
  • Oversee and manage all BIM software used in the project and rectify issues relating to BIM software
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering with relevant working experience in the Construction industry
  • About 5 years of relevant experience in the implementation and management of CAD and 3D models
  • Comprehensive knowledge of related BIM technologies
  • BIM coordination or BIM management experience in a design, engineering, or construction firm for a large project
  • Expertise in BIM Authoring Tools
  • Able to prioritize tasks well and possesses good presentation/communication skills
