Job Summary
The Procurement Administrator provides administrative and clerical support to the Procurement Team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role focuses on preparing documents, maintaining supplier databases, and managing procurement records, while assisting in vendor-related processes and departmental coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Procurement Team in the preparation of purchase orders and other procurement-related documents.
Maintain and regularly update the supplier database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Process administrative procurement forms, including new vendor registration and item setup requests.
Organize and maintain procurement records such as product specifications, import permits, and tasting records.
Assist in the collection of vendor feedback and document incidents related to supplier performance.
Provide general administrative support to departmental operations and carry out other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Prior experience in an administrative or procurement support role is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with ERP/procurement systems.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
