Job Description
The primary function of a Support Care Worker is to provide vital assistance to nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to residents. This includes ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents at all times.
- Quality Improvement
Contribute to activities that enhance the quality of care provided to our residents.
Client NeedsAttend to clients' needs promptly and report any concerns or issues to the nurses.
Safety and ComfortEnsure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents are maintained at all times.
Resident SupportAssist with transferring and positioning non-ambulant residents with care and sensitivity.
Daily ExercisesParticipate in daily exercises designed to promote mobility and flexibility among our residents.
Nutrition and HydrationAssist in serving meals and drinks, and feeding patients as needed.
TransportationEscort patients safely between their homes and the Senior Care Centre.
Emergency SituationsNotify the Centre Manager immediately in case of any emergency situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Qualifications
A WSQ in Healthcare or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
Vaccination StatusThe ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.
