Job Title: Support Care Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Care Worker to join our team. As a Support Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to residents in their daily activities.
You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and assist with tasks such as personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility. You will also accompany residents to appointments and recreational outings, and conduct daily activities with them.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or community care and social services, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC in Nursing/NITEC in Community Care & Social Services
- At least 2 years of experience in a nursing home or hospital setting
