What we’re looking for: Law degree with a licence to practice law in Singapore, England, or another common‑law jurisdiction; Minimum 12 years of experience practising law, either in an in‑house corporate legal department, a top‑tier law firm, or a combination of both; Familiarity with consumer product and advertising laws in one or more APAC countries; Experience providing legal support to sales and marketing organisations in APAC, ideally in the consumer electronics sales (physical and e‑sales) and hardware distribution sector; A motivated, reliable, disciplined self‑starter who thinks and works proactively and cross‑functionally, and is effective at solving problems collaboratively with other stakeholders; A keen eye for detail, precision, accuracy, and attention to detail; Excellent drafting and negotiation skills in at least English; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to manage and support projects across multiple geographies and subject matters; Ability to think and negotiate creatively and effectively, balancing legal constraints with business goals and objectives; Excellent decision‑making skills and the ability to identify and prioritise the highest‑impact initiatives and drive them to pragmatic resolution; Experience leading and managing a team is a plus. Desired Qualities and Experience: Combination of in‑house and law‑firm practice experience in the APAC office of a top law firm. Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to the APAC region. Experience working closely with senior business management. Experience and comfort working in a highly matrixed organization. Experience working in a highly engaged team distributed across multiple time zones and cultures. Equal Opportunity Statement: Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
