About Our Client Our client is a regional leader in interactive entertainment distribution, they specialize in delivering video games and digital content across Southeast Asia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, US and Europe. It partners with major global publishers to bring top-tier gaming experiences to local markets. They are looking for Corporate Counsel, to provide expertise in shaping the future of video game publishing and digital content distribution across Asia. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and entertainment - supporting high-impact deals, navigating complex regulations, and collaborating with global partners. Job Description Report to the COO and CEO Lead the review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including licensing and distribution agreements. Advise internal teams on legal risks, regulatory compliance, and strategic decisions. Ensure alignment with data protection laws and content approval regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Support corporate governance activities, including drafting resolutions and board documentation. Contribute to M&A transactions and other strategic initiatives. Coordinate with external legal advisors and corporate secretaries to manage filings and legal processes. Conduct legal research, including cross-border and PRC-related matters in the gaming and tech sectors. Support regional partnerships and negotiations. Provide practical legal solutions to routine corporate matters and ad hoc requests. The Successful Applicant A successful Corporate Counsel should have: A law degree from a reputable institution. At least 3 years of legal experience, ideally in commercial law or in-house counsel roles. Strong command of Singapore contract law and experience negotiating complex agreements. A proactive, independent mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams. Excellent legal research and analytical skills, including familiarity with foreign legal systems. Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Prior exposure to PRC legal frameworks in gaming or digital industries is a plus.
