Our Client is an established Asset Manager with over $100B in Asset under Management. With the achievement and repute they have garnered over the years, there is interest to expand their reach and replicate its success in the Southeast Asian market. Having recently obtained their MAS license, there is interest in bringing on an Institutional Salesperson to kickstart their distribution efforts in the region.
The Institutional Salesperson will be the pointman for all things distribution in Singapore, working closely with the CEO and CIO, playing the critical part of developing and managing relationships with institutional clients - sovereigns, pensions, endowments, insurers, as well as private wealth channels. The Candidate should come with a strong knowledge in investment products across multiple asset classses. He/she should be well informed of market trends, competitor products, and industry developments.
We are targeting 8+ years in institutional sales coming from asset managers or banks, with a track record selling to institutional asset owners in Southeast Asia. An entrepreneurial minded hunter that can find solutions in ambiguity will likely thrive in this set up. Linguistic abilities in Mandarin and another South East Asian language allows flexibility in going regional. The role is applicable for Singaporeans or PRs.
