About Our Client Our client is a leading hedge fund with deep roots in APAC-focused investment. Job Description Regulatory Readiness & Compliance Lead the setup and implementation of processes related to global margin rules (e.g., Uncleared Margin Rules - UMR) and derivatives transaction reporting (e.g., MAS, EMIR, CFTC, HKMA). Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams to ensure full compliance with margining and reporting obligations. Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential operational impacts. Trade Operations & Support Oversee daily derivatives trade lifecycle management - trade capture, confirmation, collateral management, valuation, and settlement. Ensure accurate reconciliation and timely resolution of trade breaks or disputes. Work closely with the front office, risk, and finance teams to support trading and portfolio activities. Stakeholder Management Act as a key point of contact for external service providers (brokers, counterparties, fund administrator). Provide subject matter expertise on derivatives operations and regulatory projects. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in derivatives operations , preferably with a hedge fund , asset manager , or investment
