Job Scope EHS Engineer Salary: $4500 - $5500Working Days: 5 Days, 9am-6pm Office Location: Changi, travel to client's site Job Scope: The Safety Engineer will work closely with site operations and other EHS staff to drive Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, ensure regulatory compliance and promote continuous improvement. Performs a wide range of health and safety compliance duties including equipment and facility permitting, compliance auditing, management of change and chemical authorization approvals, record keeping and reporting, liaison with the local authorities Ensure EHS programs and management systems in place in alignment with Corporate EHS requirements to minimize the risks to employees, the environment. EHS Training capabilities & experience conducting training for employees. Chemical reviews for handling, storage and disposal, test stand reviews and release for operation, Lab specific activities; Design reviews, MOC reviews, surveys etc. Hands-on training assessment. May investigate accidents or incidents and analyze pertinent data. Participates in compliance evaluation of products, programs, and facilities per company and governmental requirements. Investigates accidents and specifies corrective action. Able to use 8D, FMEA, PHA and other investigation and assessment methods. Review and report EHS progress and performance for assigned site/function based on established EHS metrics to site management. Provide onsite support and perform risk assessment for office/lab expansion projects. Track and trend EHS related legislation and take appropriate action to comply with requirements. Communicates EHS issues to all necessary management and employees. Remains knowledgeable (ISO 45k and 14K) of progress made in EHS best practices and incorporate these within Applied. Interfaces with internal stakeholders regarding EHS issues with ability to work with cross functional teams to accomplish goals and objectives Emergency Response Team coordination; Onsite availability to direct ERT members on need basis.
